What is Pre-Consumer Waste?

Material waste is a massive problem for the planet, and millions of tons of used and unused materials end up in landfills every year. As bag makers, it’s our responsibility to do something about that. Our target is to convert all of our products to 100% recycled materials. We’re starting with the new VAPOR Collection, made of pre-consumer waste, woven into recycled nylon. The more we dug into this story, we found ourselves asking….so, what exactly is pre-consumer waste? We thought we’d share our findings with you, in case you had no idea either.
